Hablot Brown Releases "Go" Remix with Detroit Swindle

Hablot Brown has the super power of genre-bending and that’s their super power. Now combine their R&B/Jazz/Pop music with the electronic duo Detroit Swindle and you get the awesome new remix single "Go”. The single comes off their recent EP, OPAQUE. 

"We were blown away when we heard the original version of Go. It's such a smooth and soulful song. When we got into the studio to work on the remix, we immediately felt like it could do with a bit more tempo and a repetitive melody to give it some more 'club appeal'. Our version is still nice and slow, but it packs the right amount of bounce to hopefully get some heads bopping..." says Detroit Single.

Hablot Brown includes twin brothers Austin Brown (production, keys, bass, guitar) and John Brown (drums, co-writing), who are originally from Franklin, MA, and Linus Lester-Hodges (vocals, songwriting) who grew up in Singapore. Together, they bring a taste of music that you can immediately slip under the spell to. They blend and alter their sounds much like Tom Misch (one of their many influences). Their music is mesmerizing, funky, and magical. Truly magical. You will be swept away and cradled by the vocals, lost in the guitar, and attracted by the beats.

This song takes us on an opposite adventure with their sound. No longer do we experience the mellow reverbs of Hablot Brown’s tone, but are given a fresh, energized tune that takes the best parts of the trio and transforms the songs’s sound waves that gets you into alternative zone.
